Community Service Hours!

All service hours are due to Miss Duty on June 1.  Please total your number, circle it next to your name. Hours will be verified.

California Junior Scholastic Federation (CJSF)

CJSF is a state accredited honor society.  The motto is "Scholarship through service."  Students must go through an application process and meet specific criteria to become a member. At Franklin, students must do a minimum of 16 hours of community service each semester.  Students who meet all of the criteria throughout middle school will received special recognition at the 8th grade promotion held at the end of the school year.  Students who continue through the program in high school will receive a golden tassel to wear at graduation.  Students meeting the expectations may have more opportunities to apply for more scholarships (based on academics and community service).
