Microsoft Office Installation @ Home

The Long Beach Unified School District is pleased to announce that all of the students, teachers and staff in the District are eligible to download and install Microsoft Office Professional Plus for free on as many as ten personal devices (PC, Mac, Tablet, phone or mobile). This opportunity has been provided to the District at no cost as part of the District's move to "The Cloud".

Microsoft Office Professional Plus includes: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access and Publisher.

To enroll to receive Microsoft Office Professional Plus on your personal or home computer:

  1. Go to the myLBUSD portal (http://myLBUSD.lbschools.net) and sign in with your user name and password.
  2. Click Applications.
  3. Click the Office 365 tile.
  4. Click Install Office in the upper, right corner.
  5. Click Office 365 apps.
  6. Follow the installation instructions.

You may register for this service at any time. It is open to all active employees and students. Once you have registered, you can return to your Office 365 account at any time by going to the Office Website http://portal.office.com (You must use this link instead of the public login pages like www.office.com, login.live.com, etc.)

Do NOT attempt to download and install Microsoft Office on district computers, laptops or tablets. Microsoft @ Home licenses are for use on your personal computers, laptops, tablets (iPads) and phones.
