Chromebook Mic Issues

Make sure your Chromebook is updated.

Check your noise level.

Make sure sites are not blocked from accessing your Chromebook’s microphone. 

There is a known bug with Zoom meetings where the sound simply doesn’t work. Here is the solution:

1. Click on “Don’t connect to audio.”
2. Get the join code and meeting ID.
3. Connect to the meeting.
4. Wait for the meeting to load up.
5. Click on “Connect with audio”
6. Choose “Computer audio.”
7. You should now be able to have your mic register when you speak in Zoom.
